Electronics Diagnostics
An integral part of machinery and scientific equipment alike. Fewer failures are more frustrating to diagnose from a user perspective than electronics failures. Component-level diagnostics can be performed on obsolete or unavailable boards, common in older (but otherwise useful) equipment. Mechanical Diagnostics
Rough bearings? Bent shafting? Worn gears? Stretched chains? SciTech can trouble shoot and replace these components with OEM parts. In the case that any component is no longer available, or if time is of the essence, SciTech is capable of manufacturing most any mechanical device and offering an additional level of confidence by guaranteeing our components.
PLC Integration
There is nothing wrong with keeping old equipment running if it’s safe, efficient and profitable to do so. To that end, SciTech can retrofit existing machinery to use modern control and safety systems. Components such as light curtains, anti-tie-back buttons and safety gates can keep your employees safe and decrease risk. Fully mechanical systems that would benefit from logic controller installation are often easier to operate and maintain, while out-performing their analogue counterparts.
Manufacturing Consulting

We know manufacturing because we’re also in the business. We’ve seen the arguments for keeping inventory on hand when conventional Lean thinking views it as sacrilege. Preventative Maintenance
Essential to optimum performance, proper maintenance can not only extend the life of equipment but also keep operations safer for employees. Deferring maintenance on machinery can lead to lost time, lost wages and unplanned outages. Along with machinery repair, SciTech can provide schedules for maintenance on equipment that did not include this information from the manufacturer.
